Man 'attempts to stab officer', police cars rammed in wild Melbourne arrest

A person allegedly tried to stab police with a screw driver and two police automobiles had been rammed throughout a wild arrest in interior Melbourne early this morning.
The incident unfolded after police had been referred to as to stories of torches being shone into automobiles on Arthur Avenue in South Yarra about 4.15am.
Officers arrived on the street to search out two males in an allegedly stolen black Nissan ute, in accordance with police.
