Call for help to identify man hit by train in inner Melbourne

Police have discovered themselves in a "very uncommon" scenario after being unable to determine a person who was hit by a practice a number of weeks in the past.
Officers are calling for assist to determine the person who has been in hospital for greater than a month after he was critically injured when he was hit by a practice between Royal Park and Jewell railway stations in Brunswick about 6.33pm on July 7.
The person, who's believed to be round 65 to 75-years-old, was taken to hospital with life-threatening head accidents and remains to be in a severe situation.
