Kicking off with “My Dangerous,” the EP begins with a blistering guitar riff, a cool bass line, and Joyce’s undeniably highly effective vocals. From there, the funk-rock fusion delivers moments of heavy steel, hard-hitting rock, and weak soul – all related by Joyce’s outstanding voice.
“We've two kickass guitars, and the vitality on stage is electrical. It’s manic, however it's highly effective,” Joyce says about her sound. “There’s nothing else on the market like what myself and the members of Mom’s Most interesting do. Born in 1948 in Mississippi and raised in Chicago, Joyce discovered herself on the street to rock when she related with Glenn Murdock, previously of The Vondells.
