Matthew Mosterd was out the again of his residence having a cigarette when he heard requires assist from the Woodridge property simply earlier than 9pm final evening.

Mosterd and one other neighbour ran to assist the resident, who's blind and deaf, with out fascinated with their very own security.
"He's blind and deaf. We knew we needed to get him out fast," Mosterd stated.
"We went across the again and kicked the again door in.
"He was proper there so we dragged him out, he was blissful to be out."
After dragging their neighbour out, inside minutes the entire home was engulfed in flames.
Mosterd stated it was fortunate he noticed the hearth in any other case the end result may have been a lot worse.

Firefighters managed to manage the blaze inside half-hour.
