Man charged over fatal crash on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway

A 21-year-old man has been charged following a deadly crash on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway earlier this month.
Police allege a silver Ford Falcon XR6 sedan was travelling outbound alongside the West Gate Freeway close to Williamstown Highway when it collided with a Vinnies truck round 10.35am on July 5.
The passenger within the sedan, a 22-year-old Truganina man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening accidents and died the subsequent day.
