A 21-year-old man has been charged following a deadly crash on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway earlier this month.
Police allege a silver Ford Falcon XR6 sedan was travelling outbound alongside the West Gate Freeway close to Williamstown Highway when it collided with a Vinnies truck round 10.35am on July 5.
The passenger within the sedan, a 22-year-old Truganina man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening accidents and died the subsequent day.
Three different males, all aged of their 20s and who have been additionally within the sedan, have been arrested on the scene and launched pending additional enquiries.
