A person who was apparently sleeping on the seaside at Coney Island was struck and killed by a New York Metropolis parks division truck early Monday, police stated. The unidentified man was mendacity within the sand when he was hit by the parks division car shortly earlier than 3 a.m., police stated.
The parks division stated the truck was leaving the seaside after a cleanup job and ran over the person, CBS New York experiences. The motive force did not see the person, police stated.
The person was pronounced useless on the scene.
