Jay Carney, Amazon's top policy executive, leaves for Airbnb

Jay Carney, the highest coverage and communications govt at Amazon and one-time White Home spokesman, has been named the pinnacle of coverage at Airbnb, marking one other high-profile departure for Amazon because it faces a shifting shopper panorama and heightened regulatory scrutiny.

Carney, who served because the press secretary for President Barack Obama, will be a part of Airbnb's govt staff and work with co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky, the corporate stated in a Friday weblog put up.
