Arrest after man shot dead on Melbourne suburban street

A 49-year-old man has been arrested after one other man was gunned down on a suburban road in south-east Melbourne.
Police arrived at Lecky Avenue in Cranbourne after stories of gunshots about 8pm final evening.
After they arrived, they discovered a person lifeless, who's but to be recognized.

Police are investigating on the scene of the capturing.(9)

Police then arrested a 49-year-old who lives in a close-by unit.
He stays in custody however has not been charged.
Neighbours have mentioned they heard three pictures in fast succession about 8pm, with one saying they thought "it was truly a fireplace cracker going off".
In an announcement, police mentioned they don't consider the loss of life is linked to different current shootings.
It's believed there was an altercation between the sufferer and the shooter proper earlier than the assault.
