A thief armed with an angle grinder has robbed a family-run service station of greater than $20,000 price of cigarettes.
Police consider the person could have smashed his approach into a number of companies in Melbourne's south east.
They are saying the unknown offender compelled the doorways of a McKinnon service station open along with his white SUV at 5am.
As soon as inside, he allegedly used an angle grinder to chop locks and stole cigarettes and money.
The homeowners of the AMPOL retailer mentioned it was a blow to their enterprise.
"We are going to undergo a loss, an enormous loss as a result of we began lately throughout COVID, now this theft will affect completely to our enterprise," workers member Zara Alikhan mentioned.
Police are investigating.
