Young Queensland man killed in three vehicle crash on south-east highway

A 21-year-old man has been killed on a Queensland freeway after his automobile collided with a truck and he was then struck by a passing car.
Police consider the Toowoomba man was in a collision between his four-wheel drive and a truck. He then stepped out of his car and was hit by a ute.
The person, from Newtown, was critically injured and died on the scene.

The crash occurred on the Gore Freeway close to Broxburn Highway, south-west of Toowoomba in south-east Queensland round 6.20am this morning.
The motive force of the truck was not injured within the collision and the driving force of the ute has been taken to hospital for evaluation.
Police and forensic groups will proceed to research the crash.
