The person, described by the company as an "skilled out-of-state recreationalist," was mountain climbing Monday at excessive elevation on Francs Peak, a 13,000-foot summit southeast of Yellowstone Nationwide Park, the Wyoming Sport and Fish Division mentioned Tuesday.

The assault occurred too rapidly for the person to make use of the bear spray he was carrying, officers mentioned.

The division did not launch the id of the person, who was being handled at a hospital in Billings, Montana, however mentioned a helicopter was used to move him.

Sport and Fish Regional Wildlife Supervisor Corey Class, reached by cellphone, declined to ask the hospital for the person's medical situation.
