A Victorian hero has been honoured for his efforts to savethree individuals from drowning at Bushrangers Bay in Mornington.
Shane Hudson, a father-of-two, humbly accepted a Certificates of Commendation from Life Saving Australia at a ceremony in Port Melbourne this morning.
Joined by his spouse, Tracy, and two youngsters, Hudson appeared emotional as footage of the day was performed to the viewers of emergency providers personnel.
These current included officers and volunteers who have been first on the scene.
"I am in awe of the primary responders that have been concerned who I did not really see on the day," Hudson mentioned.
"It was good to catch up and reiterate how good they're at their job, I've a lot respect for them."
