Three men charged after alleged 'reckless' hooning stunt in Bendigo

Three males have been charged after alleged hooning in regional Victoria over the weekend.

Police allege a silver Ford Falcon sedan carried out burnouts on a Bendigo road on Saturday night time.

A police automobile activated its lights and sirens and tried to intercept the sedan, which allegedly continued to be pushed erratically.

Police allege the sedan struck the police automobile and narrowly missed colliding with a number of pedestrians earlier than driving away from the scene.

Investigators executed search warrants at addresses in Bamawm and Nanneella on Sunday.

A 27-year-old Bamawm man has been charged with 9 offences together with reckless conduct endangering life, inflicting injury to an emergency service car by reckless driving, aggravated potential publicity to police, failure to cease on police request and driving in method harmful.

He has been remanded to face Bendigo Magistrates' Courtroom immediately.

A 19-year-old Moama man and a 22-year-old Nanneella have been charged with reckless conduct endangering life.

They each have been bailed and can face Bendigo Magistrates' Courtroom on August 11.
