1000's of faculty college students have descended on Sydney's CBD to march for local weather motion at present.
The deliberate student-led march has shut down key CBD streets with college students and activists calling on the federal authorities forward of the election to deal with the local weather disaster.
The protesters have marched alongside Macquarie avenue to the NSW Liberal Celebration headquarters.

One pupil informed 9News that though many on the march are too younger to vote, that is their manner of sending a message to the federal government.
"Voting is only one strategy to interact in our democracy and that is why we're right here at present to have a platform and get our message throughout and inform voters and plead with them to vote for our future," Natasha Abhayawickrana mentioned.
"Our communities are going to be voting for local weather and we'd like local weather motion now."
Many college students will be seen carrying their faculty uniforms throughout the protest.
Bailey Linton-Simpkins, a pupil and organiser, informed 9News that he wore his faculty uniform to set an instance for different college students on taking motion in opposition to local weather change.
"I am out right here in my blazer as a prefect displaying that the youth are highly effective and we're right here," Linton-Simpkins mentioned.
"Being engaged is basically necessary, so I believe it is good to see prefects and different folks in management positions kinda supporting such a great trigger.
"The federal government's telling us that we have had motion on the local weather disaster, that is a lie.
"On the finish of the day, we're right here on the proper facet of historical past."
Macquarie Road is at present closed because of the protest.
