Emergency providers stated the motive force turned trapped at a causeway in Conondale round 7pm final night time after the bridge was submerged by water.
Queensland Hearth and Emergency Companies advised 9News the person had managed to get out the window of the ute and was sitting within the tray.
One of many rescuers advised 9News the person had tried to cross a flooded causeway earlier than being swept down the creek.
"Spent a pair hours looking for him after his spouse alerted our neighbours," a rescuer advised 9News.
