A fantastic white shark has attacked the motor of a West Australian household's boat, circling them for over an hour.
David Tuckfield, his spouse Tanya and their 14-year-old son Shelby fishing on their 7.2 metre boat off the coast of Mandurah, south of Perth, on Good Friday when a big shark approached.
Mr Tuckerfield advised 9News the shark - measuring between three and 4 metres - didn't go away for an hour and fixated on the motor, chomping at it a number of instances.
"We had a giant customer from the deep come up, good dimension ... white pointer," he stated.
"He tried to take a piece out of the motor, we had been mesmerised."
When the animal first appeared, it tried to seize Shelby's catch.
Mr Tuckfield stated he goes fishing typically and has by no means seen a shark so near his boat, or of that dimension.
"Such a giant majestic creature," he stated.
"We do not respect them till you see them up shut and it's their playground."
The Tuckfield household managed to maintain all of their catches and stated this interplay was the spotlight of their Easter vacation.
