Three individuals have been taken to hospital after a near-drowning on the Gold Coast final evening, prompting a warning from Queensland Ambulance concerning the risks of evening swimming.
9News understands 5 individuals have been pulled from waters off the esplanade of Surfers Paradise final evening.
This included two females, together with one man.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed the group have been travellers.
They stated they arrived on scene shortly after 6pm to see a feminine, in her "late teenagers", being retrieved from the water.
A 42-year-old male and a 60-year outdated feminine have been additionally rescued.
They have been handled on scene earlier than being transported to Gold Coast College Hospital in a steady situation.
Adam Flory, Senior Operations Supervisor of Gold Coast, stated the travellers have been caught in a rip.

"They have been holidaying on the Gold Coast and swimming on an unpatrolled part of the seaside," Mr Flory stated.
"It had been closed as a consequence of lifeguards being off-duty.
"They entered the water after which acquired themselves into bother."
Mr Flory praised the quick-actions of bystanders and native surfers who helped rescue the group.
He urged all beach-goers to swim between the flags and keep away from low-light situations such at nigh-time.
