A 15-year-old Victorian woman has died after being struck by a automobile as she was strolling alongside a street within the Mornington Peninsula.
Police say a 19-year-old girl was behind the wheel of the automobile that struck the pedestrian in Baxter simply earlier than 8pm final night time.
The teenager died on the scene.
"The motive force, a 19-year-old Aspendale Gardens girl, stopped on the scene and helps police with their enquiries," police stated.
Blake Williams witnessed the aftermath of the scenario and stated it was "very grim and sombre".
Mr Williams was working in his shed when he heard sirens close to his driveway final night time.
