South Australian man Robert McGrory final noticed his beloved pet Ollie two years in the past.
The olive python escaped from his Roxby Downs dwelling in 2020 and hadn't been seen since.
"I simply assumed he had died as a result of he'd been handfed, hand-raised since he was a yearling," Mr McGrory stated.
"And yeah, thought it was throughout."
However 4 days in the past, there was a sighting on the outskirts of city.
Irene Vithoulkas noticed a two-and-a-half metre python on Olympic Approach.
"I got here throughout this large snake that took up the entire street," Ms Vithoulkas stated.
"I clearly swerved as a result of I'd simply seen it however I immediately rotated."
Ms Vithoulkas stopped visitors to ensure the snake may slither throughout safely.
"I parked my automotive in entrance of it so nobody may hit it from my manner and I put my hazards on and I flashed the opposite vehicles to decelerate," Ms Vithoulkas stated.
When Ms Vithoulkas posted the video on social media, Mr McGrory recognised his beloved pet of 10 years immediately.

He stated he cannot wait to have Ollie again at dwelling and now that he is aware of he is shut by, he shall be heading out to search for him.
"I am going to go searching for him once more and there are just a few buddies who're going to return out with me searching for him," Mr McGrory stated.
Mr McGrory is simply hoping Ollie does not slip away from him once more.
