Seventh teen charged with murder over death of Melbourne teenager

A seventh teenager, aged 17, has been charged with homicide over the alleged stabbing dying of Reservoir boy Declan Cutler in Melbourne's north final month.
Detectives from the Murder Squad yesterday arrested and charged the Werribee boy with homicide following the dying of a 16-year-old boy in Reservoir on March 13.
It comes as six teenagers, a 17-year-old Taylors Hill boy, a 17-year-old Tarneit boy, a 15-year-old Hoppers Crossing boy, a 16-year-old Yarraville boy, a 14-year-old Meadow Heights boy and a 13-year-old Meadow Heights boy, have been all charged with homicide final month.

The dying of Declan has been described as "probably the most vicious and brutal assaults" cops have seen.
Police allege Declan was fatally assaulted and stabbed in Coburg within the early hours of Sunday, March 13.
Declan was handled by paramedics and police, nevertheless he died on the scene.
