Six colleges destroyed by Queensland's February flood disaster have reopened to college students with new renovations, as hundreds of youngsters return to lecture rooms.

"Rocklea, they're rocking they've new buildings and infrastructure," training minister Grace Grace stated.
Principal Paul Zernike from Milton State Faculty stated the floods had destroyed 4 of their buildings.
"All of this space was flooded we needed to change all the unreal glass," he stated.
"The pool was underwater we had many lecture rooms, tuckshop, uniform store, outdoors hours care facility."
Repairs for these colleges value the state $5 million.

"Many faculties required electrical upgrades."
