Legendary rock band Pink Floyd has reformed to file and launch a track in assist of Ukraine.
The one, "Hey Hey Rise Up," marks the primary time they recorded music collectively because the 1994 album "The Division Bell."
It options Pink Floyd members David Gilmour and Nick Mason and vocals from Andriy Khlyvnyuk, of the band Boombox, taken from an Instagram put up wherein he sings a Ukrainian protest track in Kyiv's Sofiyskaya Sq.. The title of the brand new monitor comes from the final line of that track, "The Crimson Viburnum within the Meadow."
Additionally on the recording is bass participant Man Pratt, with Nitin Sawhney on keyboard.
"Hey Hey Rise Up" was recorded on March 30, and its music video was shot the identical day. In it, the band is seen performing, intercut with footage of anti-war protests and destruction in Ukraine.
