Nursing assistant charged with assaulting elderly residents at Sydney aged care home

A nursing assistant has been charged after allegedly assaulting 4 aged residents at a Sydney aged care house.
This week it was reported to NSW Police that two residents, aged 92 and 87, had been assaulted at a facility in Epping, within the metropolis's north-west, earlier this month.
The 87-year-old lady had reportedly suffered facial accidents.
An investigation was launched and police had been made conscious of two different alleged assaults on totally different residents earlier within the 12 months.
The residents – two 95-year-old girls – had been allegedly slapped by a nursing assistant.
A 25-year-old lady was arrested at a house in Homebush on Wednesday and brought to Ryde Police Station.
She was charged with assault occasioning precise bodily hurt (DV); and three counts of widespread assault (DV).
The lady was refused bail and appeared at Hornsby Native Courtroom yesterday, the place she was given bail to reappear on Could 10.
