A person has been arrested in NSW and charged with homicide aftera person was stabbed to demise extra than 400km away in north-west Victoria on Wednesday.
David Gaskell, 58, was discovered with crucial stab wounds at a house in Manangatang, between Swan Hill and Mildura close to the border with New South Wales, at about 9.15pm on Wednesday, March 30.
Police arrested a 41-year-old West Albury man and a 36-year-old West Albury lady on a road in Albury CBD this morning over his demise.
The person has this afternoon been charged with homicide, aggravated housebreaking and deliberately trigger damage.
He'll face Albury Magistrates' Court docket tomorrow for an extradition listening to.
The girl has been launched from police custody because the investigation continues.
Murder Squad Detective Inspector Dean Thomas stated police had additionally carried out search warrants within the space this morning, working to unravel the incident "in a well timed method".
