Man extradited to NSW to face child sexual assault charges

A person has been extradited from Tasmania and charged with sexual assault following investigations into the alleged abuse of a younger lady greater than seven years in the past.
The 29-year-old man dwelling in Tasmania was extradited to New South Wales yesterday.
His extradition follows an investigation that begun in 2016, after authorities obtained a report of alleged youngster sexual abuse.

Queensland Police were called to Ashmore after reports an allegedly stolen vehicle had crashed into surrounding bushland.

Following inquiries, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the person this week.
He was arrested with the help of Tasmania Police exterior a correctional centre in Risdon, Tasmania yesterday.
NSW Police utilized for and have been granted his extradition to NSW.
The person was escorted by detectives on a flight to Sydney and brought to Mascot Police Station, the place he was charged with aggravated sexual activity individual above 10 and fewer than 14 years of age.
