SA Police allege the occupants inside an orange Honda sedan and a taxi have been concerned in a bodily altercation within the early night of April 1.
The aged man from Cheltenham was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital, and police initially arrested the 30-year-old from Mansfield Park.
He was charged over the alleged assault and was bailed to seem in courtroom.
