A nurse working at an Adelaide aged care dwelling has been sacked after they allegedly lined an aged dementia affected person's face with a pillow.
9News can reveal allegations a carer at an Eldercare facility, which we will not establish for authorized causes, held a pillow over the face of an aged dementia affected person.
Carolanne Barkla from the Aged Rights Advocacy Service stated the claims had been "very regarding".
"While acknowledging that the allegations are allegations at this second, there may be very a lot a trusted relationship between a nurse and a affected person," Ms Barkla stated.
South Australia Police confirmed in a press release an investigation was now underway into the incident, which allegedly occurred on March 22.
The affected person was not significantly injured.
