Tom Parker of The Wished has died at 33 after a protracted struggle with mind most cancers, his spouse, Kelsey Hardwick, confirmed through Instagram on Wednesday.
“It's with the heaviest of hearts that we verify Tom handed away peacefully earlier at the moment with all of his household by his aspect,” she captioned a black and white photograph of the singer. “Our hearts are damaged, Tom was the centre of our world and we will’t think about life with out his infectious smile and energetic presence. We're really grateful for the outpouring of affection and help and ask that all of us unite to make sure Tom’s gentle continues to shine for his lovely youngsters. Thanks to everybody who has supported in his care all through, he fought till the very finish. I’m eternally pleased with you.”
Parker — who rose to fame after The Wished discovered success in 2012 with singles “Glad You Got here” and “Chasing the Solar” — publicly shared his battle with mind most cancers and revealed in October 2020 that he was recognized with the sickness. On Nov. 4, Parker up to date his Instagram followers on his situation and reported that his newest mind scan got here again as secure.
“We had the outcomes from my newest scan…and I’m delighted to say it's STABLE,” he shared. “Such a mixture of feelings.
