When politicians maintain press conferences, they're typically topic to a barrage from curious reporters.
However as Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk held a press convention in Brisbane right now, it was the AUSLAN interpreter who discovered himself the goal of an unwelcome bombardment.
As Deputy Premier Steven Miles was talking, a presumably giant hen made an unwelcome contribution to interpreter Mikey Webb's jacket.

Ms Palaszczuk later recognized the wrongdoer as an owl.
"Nothing stops our fabulous Mikey," she wrote on Twitter.
"He stands by my facet, he stands by Queensland's facet."
Queensland Police later tweeted concerning the incident.
"Can verify police have launched an investigation into this fly by hooting," the police posted on Twitter.
