Northern Territory police officer Zachary Rolfe has returned to the witness field, recounting the second he fired three photographs at an Indigenous teenager throughout an tried arrest in 2019.
The Constable beforehand informed the courtroom he was despatched to arrest Kumanjayi Walker within the distant neighborhood of Yuendumu, after the 19-year-old had pulled an axe on two officers.

"As I noticed him with the blade, I instantly feared for my life. And instinctively, I went for my Glock."
Mr Rolfe then stated he felt Mr Walker's hand on his firearm.
"I twisted my hips again, which we're skilled to do with pace, to knock that hand off my Glock."
"I stepped again, Kumanjayi's focus turned to (associate Constable First Class Adam) Eberl, and I instantly feared for Eberl's life."
Mr Rolfe stated it was his notion that his associate was being stabbed with a doubtlessly deadly weapon, so he fired one spherical on the teenager.

He has pleaded not responsible to homicide.
The trial is now in its fourth week.
