Man fighting for life after being shot by police south east of Darwin

A person is combating for all times after he was shot by police in a park in a residential space south east of Darwin.
Police arrived within the suburb of Grey in Palmerston, about 9am ACST (10:30am AEDT) to discover a man armed with a weapon, based on Northern Territory Police Assistant Commissioner Michael White.
He mentioned police referred to as on the person to drop the weapon, which witnesses have described as a spear.
"Sadly various pictures had been fired by police, injuring a male," Assistant Commissioner White mentioned.
