Human stays which are believed to have been stolen from Melbourne mausoleums virtually two months in the past have allegedly been discovered at a house in Melbourne's south-west.
A 40-year-old Spotswood man has been arrested over the alleged theft of the partial human stays from mausoleums at a cemetery on Geelong Highway in Footscray.
Police have mentioned they count on to cost the person with interfering with the corpse of a human being and prison injury.
A major police investigation has been underway since partial human stays have been allegedly stolen from the mausoleums in two separate incidents between January 27 and February 1.
