Boris Johnson says Russia's actions in Ukraine qualify as war crime

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin's actions in Ukraine qualify as struggle crime.

Johnson additionally stated that Putin had "gravely miscalculated" the Ukrainian response.

"In his abhorrent assault on a sovereign nation, he has underestimated the extraordinary fortitude of the Ukrainian folks, and the unity and resolve of the free world in standing as much as his barbarism," he stated.

"If Putin doubles down so lets, additional ratcheting up financial stress and supporting Ukraine with finance, weapons and humanitarian help," Johnson added, saying the UK "will proceed to tighten the noose round Putin's regime."

"Putin should fail in his enterprise" and "I've little doubt that he'll fail and that we'll reach defending Ukraine," he stated.
