Paislee Shultis was present in a makeshift room hiding beneath a staircase along with her alleged abductor after police spent an hour looking out a house in Saugerties, Ulster County for her yesterday.
She was four-years-old when she reported lacking from Cayuga Heights in July 2019 - greater than 250 kilometres from the place she was discovered.
Police believed she was taken by her "non-custodial dad and mom", in keeping with US media.
Officers searched the Saugerties residence yesterday after they obtained a tip about her whereabouts.
