Woman in induced coma after cooking oil explosion

A girl has been positioned in an induced coma after cooking oil exploded and set her physique on hearth within the Blue Mountains.
Police rushed the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter medical staff to the lady's residence after it landed in Summerhayes Park, Winmalee, about 1.15pm on Sunday.
"A girl, aged in her late 30s, has sustained burns to her again and legs when cooking oil exploded and set her physique on hearth in a Winmalee residence," CareFlight stated in a press release.

The organisation stated the lady was intubated and positioned in an induced coma to stabilise her.
She was airlifted to the specialist burns unit at Royal North Shore Hospital in a steady situation.
