A safety guard allegedly assaulted on the Gold Coast claims he waited nearly eight hours to be handled in a hospital emergency room.
Shane Wyrznyski stated he attended the emergency division of the Gold Coast College Hospital after the alleged assault, which occurred whereas working in Surfers Paradise this week.
Mr Wyrznyski stated his bicep was ruptured, requiring an ultrasound and surgical procedure.
After arriving on the emergency division at 4.34am, he stated he left at 12.14pm the subsequent day with out receiving an ultrasound.
"I am unsure in the event that they stated they're too busy or we won't get you in," Mr Wyrznyski stated.
"That is eight hours sitting at a hospital."
