Mice, frogs hitch ride on snake to escape rising Queensland floodwaters

A snake has served as a hero to small animals attempting to flee rising Queenslandfloodwaters.
Frogs, mice and beetles have been seen using on the again of a big snake in imaginative and prescient uploaded on-line.
Whereas the species is unclear the animal seems to be an japanese brown snake, which generally preys on mice and frogs.

The scene was filmed inside a rain-water tank in Western Queensland after heavy rain hit the state.
Rescuers have been seen attempting to assist the smaller creatures through the use of an extended yellow pole, however this solely agitated the water inflicting the snake to swim laps.
9News understands all animals have been rescued from the tank.
