Man charged after woman allegedly sexually touched at famous Sydney beach

A person has been charged after allegedly sexually touching a girl at a well-known Sydney seaside almost two years in the past.

A 23-year-old girl was climbing rocks at Gordons Bay in Coogee on March 20 2020, when an unknown man approached her from behind about 1.30pm.

Police allege the person sexually touched the girl, earlier than leaving the realm.

The lady reported the incident to police, which sparked an investigation.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man at Marrickville about 8.30am on Tuesday following "in depth inquiries".

He was taken to Newtown Police Station the place he was charged with sexually touching one other particular person with out consent.

The person was refused bail and appeared at Newtown Native Courtroom the identical day, the place he was granted bail to re-appear at Newtown Native Courtroom on March 30.
