A year-long trial of e-scooters rolled out right now in Melbourne streets and they're already proving common amongst commuters.
The brilliant-coloured scooters have sparked a buzz within the council areas of Port Phillip, Melbourne and Yarra, the place the pilot program is being championed.
They run at speeds of as much as 20km/h and mimick the scooters rolled out throughout the Darwin CBD.
Richard Hannah, the top of Neuron Mobility, one of many corporations operating the trial, stated the scooters had been outfitted with "geofencing" expertise which prevented folks from driving to questionable places.

A complete of 1500 scooters have been rolled out throughout the Melbourne council areas.
