Two teenage girls have been refused bail after allegedly bashing a group of women at Sydney's Darling Harbour early on a Tuesday morning.
Three young women, aged 20, 20 and 21, were walking along the harbourside at 1.45am on December 21 when they were verbally abused by a girl walking past as part of a group of teens.
The teen allegedly threw a can at them.
Police then allege three teenagers then pulled the two 20-year-olds to the ground by the hair and kicked them in the face.
The 21-year-old tried to flee from the scene and call emergency services, but she was followed, pushed to the ground and kicked by the teens.
The two 20-year-olds were treated by paramedics before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital. One had a broken nose; the other a broken finger.
Police said after an "extensive inquiry", a 13-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested at Miranda train station in Sydney's southeast yesterday afternoon.
The girls were taken to Sutherland Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery and inflicting actual bodily harm.
They are due to appear at a children's court today.
