A man has been charged after allegedly blowing more than six times the legal limit after he crashed into a street sign in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mulgoa and Blaikie Roads, Penrith, after reports a car had crashed about 3.20pm yesterday.
Officers found a sedan that had mounted a median strip then crashed into a street sign.

The 31-year-old driver underwent a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where he underwent another breath test which returned a reading of 0.313, which is six times the legal limit.
The 31-year-old was charged with drink driving offences.
The man was given conditional bail and will appear at Penrith Local Court in January.
